Front desk staff (specifically the woman who sounds like Fran Drescher) is rude and completely unprofessional (interrupts you, seems agitated if you ask for something beyond a basic appointment, and apparently doesn't listen to the instructions the doctor provides her). I've seen Dr. Mandel (only virtually) out of desperation because I could not see my PCP from another office, the first visit was fine but a recent subsequent visit with an ongoing COVID case has been a mess. I would avoid this office at all costs.
Arrived for 8am appointment 15 minutes early as instructed. Was told by the rude receptionist to take a seat and that they didn’t open until 8:00. Nurse did vitals and asked some questions. Then I sat in the exam room for 30+ minutes waiting for the doctor to arrive at work. I asked when he would be arriving, and kept getting the runaround. “He’ll be here any second” … 10 minutes later, “I’ll try calling him”… no answer. Do not recommend!
