Extremely unreliable and they have terrible internal communication. My client was assigned 4 or 5 different "home aids" half of them never even showed up and the ones who did told her that they would be "right back" because they needed to "get cleaning supplies" and then they would never show back up. They may have even been billing fraudulently on her services. They also lied to her on the phone and then suddenly were reasonable and telling the truth when I came on the line.. seems like discrimination to me.
I was offered a shift by Atlantic Home Staffing with extremely short notice, no formal orientation, and without even having direct deposit completed. The shift was located 30 minutes away and only lasted 2 hours, which was not worth the time, travel, and childcare costs. They hired me 2 months ago and started cutting my hours after the first 3 weeks of me working. I called and emailed them . They didn’t call or email me back til 2 weeks later to finally tell me I will no longer be having a client when I had asked weeks prior . I haven’t had a client in almost a month. They have been posting cases over and over , and the cases they have posted I tried to take on those cases and apparently “it’s filled already” but then they repost the case the next day again 🤨umm okay. Atlantic Home Staffing has been a good place for me. Eventually, I'd like to go to school to obtain a higher degree, so the training here has been valuable. The management treats me with respect, and when I've had questions, they've been very good about getting back to me.
