Loved the location and amenities with this hotel though it was a bit above our usual price range. We had a King room on the 4th floor with an amazing view! We had a mini fridge, microwave, dinette table with two chairs, and a small loveseat. The carpet seemed very new and there were no stains or wear patterns on it. Everything was very clean, even the sliding balcony door glass. Bathroom was a tad bit small but sink, faucets, and shower seemed very new and modern. Mattress seemed pretty new, very comfortable. Great view. Very clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend. Very pleasantly surprised. Affordable for this area. 5 minutes from Main st. Market.

Title: An Oceanview Disappointment I'm not one to write a bad review, but I feel compelled to share my experience in the hopes that others can avoid the same frustration. We booked this hotel for a four-night getaway, specifically for the promise of a relaxing oceanfront experience. What we got was anything but. We did a weekend trip to Bar Harbor early September. The lodge lobby, breakfast area and rooms were clean. Room carpet was very dated, but it appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. Room was very large. Our room was on the 4th floor with a balcony and we couldn't ask for a better view of the harbor area... just spectacular! Absolutely obsessed with this hotel! The breakfast included was delicious. The room was so clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable as well!!! So close to Bar Harbor village and plenty of activities. The staff were friendly and very helpful! Can’t wait to stay here again!!
