Dr. Michael Widick did a masterful job on my 1 cm diameter submandibular salivary gland stone. He was able to remove the stone intra-orally, despite it being way back in the hilum. Three other doctors indicated they would need to remove the entire salivary gland and stone via external surgery into the neck (old school approach), greatly increasing the risk of nerve damage, leaving a nasty scar, and leaving me without a functioning submandibular salivary gland on that side. Had a deviated septum surgery with turbinite reduction. Perforated the back of my nose and my breathing is awful I cant sleep on one side because I cant get air. Wish I never had the surgery as it's much, much worse then before. Got a second and third opinion and no one will operate to fix me because of the first surgery they don't want the liability. One said there isn't enough of my nose left. Would not recommend....
Dr. Widick is more interested in selling you hearing aids then helping you with the problem you went to see him for. After 2 or 3 visits I had asked him to order a test that he never mentioned and when the test came back negative he never followed up with me. I was referred to another ENT Physician by my primary, who within 10 minutes diagnosed my problem and we're working on the solution. One of the worst experiences EVER. I walked in the office and the front office staff were not organized. Then when talking to the doctor about my constant popping in the ears he stated that it was normal for my ears to pop and that I’m just noticing it more. Sir, I wouldn’t be coming to you if it was a normal symptom. Then he proceeded to tell me my blood pressure was not normal and of course immediately said. “You know if you lose weight that would help”.
