This is a poor Annuity company. My 3rd Anniversary statement seemed close to the return that they advertised. However, when you go to renew another Point to Point investment choice, you get the same interest rate that you signed on with, inspite of new customer interest rates being higher. Like other complaintants advise, the company is very, very slow in returning your money, subject to unsubstantuated fee charges.
This company is the worst been trying to get inheritance from them for over two years they keep wanting fees but never let me have my money have spent Twenty thousand dollars trying to get inheritance
I bought an annuity from Atlantic Coast Life for $100,000.00. I cancelled the agreement within the appropriate time frame. A refund was promptly sent. much to my surprise, I got a notice from the IRS claiming that I understated my income by $100,000.00. Atlantic Coast Life sent the IRS a form stating that the refund was actually a disbursement. I have contacted the broker, they refused to speak with the broker.
