I’ve never stayed anywhere on vacation where I couldn’t get an early check in. Can’t get ahold of any actual people only automatic messages. They say they will call you but they won’t. Have a 2 year old who has been in the car for hours now still waiting in an extreme heat advisory because they can’t get our room ready. Asking an hour to 30 minutes early check in isn’t asking much at all. Especially when check out for guests is at 11. Just laziness and mismanagement. Very poor service
Would not recommend. Day 1, we found a cockroach in the kitchen and then hairs in the restroom and the kitchen. Later on in the week, the exterior walls of our condo were being worked on so it was the constant bang of hammers for hours - with no heads-up from Vacasa. Spend your money elsewhere.
I do not normally provide reviews for services, companies, etc unless I feel it is warranted. I feel this one is needed to at least make people aware of my experience with Vacasa in Atlantic Beach NC. We have used Vacasa several times for rentals in Pine Knoll Shores, NC. We did the same for a recent stay in June at Beachwalk. The stay was great until Friday night when the AC stopped cooling. We stayed at delight on Davis . Atlantic Beach, the location was great, close to beach . Great space . However the TV upstairs didn't work, the sofa looked like it came out of a porn film, covered in stains . wore out uncomfortable. Skillets were terrible burned up food. Even on low. The keyless entry code was a disaster. In the middle of our stay we had to get a new code to reenter , and office wouldn't text new code.
