Dr. Powell, a master of her craft. the cream of the crop. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this incredibly gifted Doctor. We are so blessed to have her in our community. She may not brag, but i will.....ANY animal at the Atlanta zoo that has an eye issue...Dr. Powell is who they call. Remember WILLIE B, the incredible silver back gorilla , yup she treated him also.. I highly recommend her to anyone in need for their fur baby. She saved my Molly Brown's vision.
RecommendedDr. Powell and her staff have been taking care of our Cavalier Spaniels for more than ten years. Her expertise and knowledge have kept our girls in excellent vision health. We especially appreciate that she is willing to talk to us for quick questions between visits, to mail refills of medication, and always takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly and make sure all of our questions are answered.
Excellent results from Dr Gail treating my dog Daisy for extremely dry eyes. We have seen a great improvement with the treatments-the Dr has prescribed I could not be more happy. Highly recommend her and her staff are so helpful Nancy Vines
I've taken two of my canine furkids to AVEC. They love Dr Powell and her team. Very personal and compassionate care. Always makes sure you understand the care plan and great follow up.
Dr. Powell-Johnson and her team did a great job with my very difficult foster boy and his distichia surgery. My vet said this was the doctor she’d take her own dogs to so that was good enough for me a d we were not disappointed. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Powell is a master of her craft. She is so caring, understanding and really pays attention to her patients and clients. Her office is welcoming and bright just like her team. My ziva had to have cryotherapy to take care of her distichiasis and doctor Powell and her team treated my baby like their baby. I highly recommend them. Very caring, kept me up to date and made sure i understand every little thing.
I cannot tell you how wonderful Dr.Powell-Johnson and her staff are. My vet noticed corneal ulcers in my Pug, Maggie's eyes. She sent us right away and I am so grateful we went! Dr. Powell-Johnson identified the issue and recommended a treatment program. I will recommend her to everyone I know!
