If I could rate them 0 stars, I would. They were a whole day late & claimed it was due to a family emergency. Okay cool, they said they would be here at 6am the next day and still showed up 40 minutes late. I missed a flight that was scheduled & I was unable to talk to the owner about reimbursement. There was a whole bunch of different prices being discussed between multiple people so I am unsure if what I paid was the correct price or if I got over on. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Atlanta Urban Movers LLC is hands down one of the best moving companies I’ve ever dealt with. Their service is excellent from start to finish, and their professionalism really stands out. They were careful with our stuff and did accommodate short notice but the pricing was not very clear up front, lots of surprise fees that weren’t really discussed prior. Also were several hours late without much communication from owner. Owner charged for larger truck even though we agreed it wasn’t necessary. Also charged me for time to fill up their tank which was not value added time. The movers themselves were very nice and professional guys and did a good job overall and were willing to work until the job was done.
Overall, I am satisfied with the meticulation of the movers and their flexibility. I appreciate that they were willing to work with me on a spur of the moment basis. The owner is also a believer and man of God. May they continue to be blessed in their prospects here.
