I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Freda McCarter in the Emergency room. I honestly felt GOD sent an guardian angel to me cause my condition was very serious. After Dr. McCarter listened & ordered Xrays without hesitation she set up surgery and treated me. I can say I trusted Dr. McCarter & she saved my life, her knowledge and skills are remarkable. I was blessed to have Dr. Freda McCarter as my surgeon. She did a repair of an Inguinal Hernia that was poorly repaired by another doctor. She also saw that I had a Femoral Hernia while doing my surgery. She did a phenomenal job. I have no more pain and feel fantastic. She repaired both hernias with mesh. The medical staff at the location on Hospital dr in Henry county are fantastic. The medical team at Emory Hospital were exceptional. Very disappointed, I like Dr. McCarter, but I went for a preop and post op appointment. I had a 45 minute wait preop and walked out after a 90 minute wait post op. this is both unprofessional and inconsiderate. I am always early for my appointments and feel that a time is setup for a reason. I asked them to have Dr McCarter call me. So far I have received no response. many people arrived after me and were taken before me. not sure why. I will not be calling Dr McCarter in the future.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. McCarter during an emergency room visit. After many tests I was informed by the ER physician that I needed to speak to a surgeon regarding my test results. Dr. McCarter has a way of connecting. She spoke to me and my husband in a very clear manner informing us that my appendix needed to be removed. She was very kind and professional. I felt comfortable with her performing the procedure. I would highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a good surgeon.
