You won't be coming here merely for a dozen eggs; this 146-acre (60-hectare) market is one of the largest in the world, one where any visit is a serious outing. The abundance of hen house eggs, fresh produce, smokehouse meats and bottled regional specialties make the market memorable. Inexpensive shrubs and plants are also available for the garden lover. And if you get an attack of the munchies, a Davis Brothers cafeteria serves up home-style meals. The market is located about 10 miles (16 kilometers) south of Atlanta.

you get what you pay for
We stop every time we pass thru Atlanta. Sometimes on the way down and back from a trip. We do buy veggies and fruit, but the real reason we stop is for Georgia peaches! No super market or farmers market can touch these. Super easy on and off interstate. Drive to the vendor of choice and pull in. Most allow sampling. Also, a very nice restaurant. Check the hours first. Farmers travel from many GA farms to bring produce to market. Excellent prices that get better with larger quantity. Super place. And restrooms.
Can't wait to go every weekend. Totally fun. Only problem is they only take cash.
Even though cost 10.00 to park to deliver produce, unloading time is quick. Always appreciate a parking spot even if I do have to pay. Friendly fast service.
GREAT deals- excellent workers. Need better instructions for parking or designated parking.
Always find Awesome deals!!! Something for Everyone!!
I absoluty LOVE to Atlanta Farmers Market. I grew up playing on the dock of the F building at my grand fathers produce business. J.A. Morgan, General Produce. A true walk down memory lane for me. The shed's are awesome too. still lots of fresh produce, plants, planters, flower's. We always got the Christmas Tree from the farmers market. My Uncle Sonny Morgan , always got it flocked. I thought that was the most amazing thing when I was a kid.
You can find almost any fruit or vegetable at the Farmers Market. Friendly sales people that aim to please. And the Garden Center is awesome! Times have changed and there are not as many customers visiting the farmers market. Park your car, get out and walk around. You might just enjoy it!
