If you are considering bariatric surgery PLEASE go consult with Dr. Johnson. Every single person on staff has bent over backwards to be helpful and answer my questions. I have received multiple calls from the nurse, dietitian and coordinators to get everything required lined up and just to check on me. Dr. Johnson shoots straight from the hip and will tell you like it is but has the best beside manner. No questions are dumb questions and he will answer them all. They are the best. Dr.Hart is an amazing doctor. This was the best decision of my life to go see him and have him do my sleeve surgery.
I will tell you if you want a doctor and staff who is honest, tells you what is going on with you and the process you will go through to solve, or give you relief to your situation, Dr. Johnson is the doctor to see. Dr. Johnson is a doctor who will listen and talk to you until you understand. If you want to hear what you want to hear and not what you need to hear, which is the truth, then don't go to him. Dr. Johnson did my surgery on 12/5/16 and I had a wonderful experience! Everyone at Atlanta Bariatrics has been great and I am so glad that I chose them for this journey! The dietitians are knowledgeable and make every effort to help you stay informed and offer clear information on how to be successful. I have received personal calls from the nurse as well as the dietitians since surgery simply asking how I'm doing. I recommend this practice to anyone interested in bariatric surgery!
