We just recently became a dealer for ATK as we do a lot of LS swaps in our shop and we had been purchasing ATK short blocks through Summit Racing. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I wish I could leave less stars! 3 motors blown. Valve seat on the first 6.0 HP109. Second they said had a foreign debris in the head. There was was metal pebbles in the oil pan as well, but they sent the 3rd one before they tested this one. Now the 3rd one blew on the test drive. 2nd one didnt even make it that far. Okay so I bought one of ATK crate 5.3 with 450hp. Sum-150153. Put it in and installed a Melling 10296 hv oil pump. Had it tuned very mild due having a stock 4l60e an the motor was great up until right at 7000 miles I did an oil change a got 2 small pieces of metal on the end of my magnet on the drain bolt in the oil pan. The motor ran great and made great oil pressure and didn’t even make a lick of a hiccup at higher rpm. I decided even though it ran great to go ahed and warranty it.
