This is the worst doctor I have ever had in my life. I’m going to glaze over the fact he hardly even sees his patients and get right to my biggest complaint. I had surgery due to a ruptured appendix. I made a follow up appointment with Dr.Atiya to make sure everything was healing right. He ordered a cat scan. Then never got back to me about the results. Weeks went by so I called. I don’t know if this doctor is incompetent or just plain lazy. Either way he needs to retire. I had surgery and had a follow up cat scan ordered by him. He read the scan wrong and told me it’s normal and I’m fine. I wasn’t. I actually just had to have emergency surgery again last week. The scan he said was fine actually showed I had appendicitis. I’ve been living with it for 9 months because he was telling me I was fine. This man needs his license taken away. So glad he is no longer my doctor. What a relief.
WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! I absolutely agree with all the negative reviews here, I received the same treatment from Dr. Atiya and his staff. Here is a little about my experience: I had first seen a PA at Dr. Atiya’s office in May of 2017 for back pain. (I’ve only seen Physicians Assistants from the start, Dr. Atiya rarely meets with his patients) I requested pain meds and further treatment which they were able to prescribe me tramadol and sent me for an X-ray. Worst doctors office I have ever been to my mom was seen by this doctor in May for sudden weight loss and fatigue pain in her stomach a whole mess of stuff she was diagnosed as a diabetic this was the wrong diagnosis my mother was then diagnosed through Lomalinda in September with stage four pancreatic cancer The office staff is rude they have no knowledge of anything that is being asked of them their favorite word is I don't know this man should not have a practice if you value your health do not go to this office
Second Dr. I've had since abdominal problem began in December 2015. Already had ultrasound done with previous doctor, found nothing. This office sent me for another ultrasound, same place, even the same technician, for the same scan! Once again, they found nothing! They could have used that time to run a different test, instead of wasting time on the same test again. Being like most the other comments here are based on going to this doctor due to the office taking their insurance, the same is for myself and my mother. My issues are from when I lived in Hemet awhile back. I had a lump in my eyelid and needed to see a specialist so I had to go to see him for a referral. He refused, said I didn't need it. This lump ended up getting infection and my eyelid had to get surgery to clean the area several years later. I took my daughter to Dr. Atiya and apparently he is never around instead we are always directed to this nurse practitioner that works for him. Well this nurse practitioner discriminated against me when I asked her to prescribe a medication for my daughter which only cost $17.00, she said "I don't think you can afford it because your insurance might not cover it", when I have Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO Insurance which one of the best in the nation.
