Wendy is excellent and has been so good with my 92 year old mother. The PT is helping and her shoulder pain has diminished. Wendy finds the right balance of work so that mom is not exhausted for the rest of the day. Wendy also works to make sure my mom understands her even though she has significant hearing loss. It also helps that the gym is quieter (maybe it is the carpet?) than other places we have been.
I have been a patient at ATI Physical Therapy several times over the years. Everyone from scheduling to front desk to clinical staff is professional and compassionate. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Clinical staff are extremely good at assessing a patient’s current status and formulating an individualized treatment plan to address your needs, then adapting and progressing that plan as needed. I have had very good outcomes each time I have been a patient at ATI.
I’m thankful for the care I received and appreciate that my therapist recognized I was experiencing vertigo. She performed the Epley maneuver and worked with me on eye movement exercises to help retrain my brain, which did provide some relief. However, over time I realized there was a deeper issue going on, and I was later diagnosed with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness by an ENT in Charlotte.
