This review is billing related. I had an excellent experience with the physical therapist at this location. The issue I experienced here was that after being told my United Healthcare insurance was in network, I later saw that I was being billed a large amount vs the regular $35 copay. After inquiring with my insurance company it appears that United healthcare put this location as out of network effective 11/14/25. Really nice and helpful staff!
I feel the therapists care about me and my progress. After 8 months I stopped therapy because I didn't see progress. That makes me sad because I was trying really hard with home exercises. Even more sad that it appears this place sees you as a number. The PT never called or wrote to see if I was coming back for therapy or if my condition has improved. I am suprised so many excellent reviews.
The expert physical therapists at ATI Acton have helped me over many years - with different conditions and injuries - to regain physical function. They have worked with me to rehabilitate a broken ankle and back problems which present intermittently. PT does pay off for many people - it takes time. The staff are expert, pleasant and enjoy helping people recover mobility and function. The office is well managed. Highly recommend Acton ATI.
