I have been going to ATI physical therapy a couple months now. Everybody there is very friendly and a very positive atmosphere. My therapist, Dr. Shirla Moore is amazing. She has helped me developed the skills and muscle structure necessary to walk again. I have been too many physical therapists but I would honestly say that Dr. Shirla will always be my physical therapist here on out. I would highly recommend this location of ATI and if you can work with Dr. Shirla.
I feel like ATI is not very ethical by having non PT / PTAs conduct sessions, some of which are not trained. I would be very cautious to come here if I was severely injured and needed major rehab as PT exercises should be done under supervision correctly. They also try to squeeze in many patients and overbook slots. It's very easy to get an appointment here (probably due to overbooking) and the people are nice. However I would not recommend ATI. You do not get 1:1 personalized treatment here
Be aware of the price: they say that it will cost you about $120-130 without insurance but will charge you up to $500 with insurance (that's in addition to $300 I paid ($50 I pay each visit)). Scammers
During my second session, the therapist assigned to me was working with two patients at once. I understood this ahead of time and was prepared to follow her instructions independently. However, throughout the session she spent nearly the entire first 30 minutes providing hands-on, highly attentive care to the other patient while I was left to perform increasingly challenging exercises alone.
