Had a great experience with Alex and Jamal and my persistent back pain problems went away!
After two months of physical therapy at Athletico with Jamal, Jakob, Alex, and Ashanti, I am finally moving pain free. I just wanted to thank the whole team for getting me back to the activities that I enjoy. Update: 9-19-25 Had a flair up of an old lower back injury, so I had to return to therapy with Jamal at Athletico. Now I am moving better than ever; I haven’t moved this well without pain in years. Thanks to Jamal and Mya, I will be be in motion for years to come.
I had a knee replacement on May 27, 2025 and that resulted into a knee manipulation. I started my physical therapy with Alex Rios in July and I was so happy that he worked with me. Alex worked hard with my knee because it wasn’t bending and very weak. I also had blisters on my surgery knee and down my leg, but Alex was so professional, dedicated and respectful being my therapist. Thanks to Alex Rios, I have my range of motion and mobility back in my knee. Alex is the best!!!!!
I have had such a wonderful experience at Athletico Physical Therapy! From the day 1 the whole team has been welcoming, supportive and encouraging throughout my therapy. I had ankle surgery in February 2025. My surgeon recommended coming to see Jamal Jefferson at Athletico West Plano. He took me from not being able to walk, back to full strength much quicker than the surgeon said I would be. I had a phenomenal experience and I recommend anyone come to Atletico and work with Jamal and the team! They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and friendly.
