I had an enjoyable and educational experience with my time at Athletico physical therapy. My PT, DPT instructor Hannah Criswell was absolutely outstanding. She was informative, helpful and nonjudgmental with a very positive attitude.
Huge fan of this place! They are positive, and detail oriented when it comes to your recovery. Their plan made my knee replacement recovery so much easier than anticipated. I highly recommend them!!
I'm a very active person, and had a gnarly fall in 12/24, landing directly on my right knee. It caused me a complex meniscus tear, and a bone contusion. I had surgery on 1/22/25 to repair the tear. I called on Friday 1/24 to set up PT. I was assigned "Logan" as my therapist to start treatment on 1/27. Logan was very good about reading my activity level and improving my range of motion pist surgically. She taught me how to "walk normally," as I'd been limping the few days post operatively. Sydney was very thorough and helpful when I was strengthening my shoulder. Took time to ask questions and make sure we had a good plan. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy.
I thought I was looking at another knee surgery due to immobility and cartilage wear and tear. Reese put me on a plan to increase strength in my hips and glutes, and we determined my issues came from the tendons around my patella, not cartilage. We worked hard... and he pushed me, but I wanted to do the hard work. We made amazing progress. The rest of the staff was friendly and I always had a good time when I was there. I highly recommend Athletico - Lee's Summit. Good people!
