I am providing my review for the Athletico Chatham West location which is a convenient location for the community. My experience with the staff was wonderful as they aided my recovery after shoulder surgery. I am grateful to Johnny who assists the Physical Therapists. Johnny's customer service skills is to be commended along with his attentiveness provides as great first contact experience. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Athletico in Grandview. One of the positive features at this location is that the patient seems to get very individualized attention from the therapist. The time that I spent in face-to-face interaction was productive. I have used two different PT clinics over the last two years. I don’t really have anything negative to say about the other two companies in Raytown that I used, but I do feel that there was more one-on-one time with the therapist at Athletico.
II want to give a late, but heart felt thanks to Ashley. I’m a senior citizen and after I fractured my knee cap and wore a full leg brace for 12 weeks, I was left with a bad limp and limited flexibility. Thanks to my sessions with Ashley, my limp is gone, and my knee is more flexible and stronger than it was pre-fracture. Ashley was patient, understanding and friendly.
My experience with the Athletico Physical Therapy clinic in Ottawa was very positive. The staff is most attentive and gears the therapy to each patient's personal needs. They worked on both strength and range of motion with me, and when I had my post-op visits with my surgeon, he was very pleased with what they had achieved. My PT, Becky, knew I was not very "tech-savvy," so she printed me individual exercise information sheets that I could use at home. This was much appreciated! I recently finished P.T. at the Elkhorn location. My therapy sessions lasted for almost a year. I had several therapists during that time. I would highly recommend any of them.!!As matter of fact the whole staff deserves to be complemented for their courteous professionalism. I would like to give a special thank you to Luisa Montemurro. I've been to Atletico for degenerative disease in my neck and after shoulder surgery. My PT was Patrick who was very knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, encouraging and made sure I was doing enough each visit to keep progressing. He always made sure my at home exercises were never stagnate and moved my progress along as well. I recommend him to family and friends and I highly recommend this location as everyone is super nice and make you feel welcome. They make you work but keep the environment light hearted and fun.
