After a lengthy hospital stay due to COVID-19 (29 days, 19 of them on a ventilator) I was, to say the least, a mess! I couldn’t feed myself, brush my own teeth, or even stand up. I was sent to an in-patient rehab center where after 8 days of intense physical therapy I learned to walk again with the aid of a walker.
