Today, I went to Athletic Threads to buy some work shoes that give me the support and comfort I need. I was helped by the Employee and He made sure to get me the right size and right shoe for the right fit. I appreciate the good customer service and the shoes I bought are what i needed. The employee went above and beyond and shared some knowledge to help me with foot pain and exercises. Definitely will come back.
I have been going to Athletic Treads (Athletic Performance) for many, many years while Lisa owned it. It was the best customer service around and worth the drive to Willow Glen. Since the new owner took over, it has been the worst customer service I have experienced. I met the owner soon after he bought it, and he seemed nice enough. But his manager is rude and not helpful at all. I have been back a few times and finally decided not to shop there due to rude customer service. The sales person sold me running shoes for the gym with out carrying any tests even though the boutique has many machines and protocols in place. I am flat footed and have narrow feet- the sales person sold me wide shoes with low instep. He categorically told me that the store did not have gym / work out shoes.
