I have been going to Athletic Treads (Athletic Performance) for many, many years while Lisa owned it. It was the best customer service around and worth the drive to Willow Glen. Since the new owner took over, it has been the worst customer service I have experienced. I met the owner soon after he bought it, and he seemed nice enough. The sales person sold me running shoes for the gym with out carrying any tests even though the boutique has many machines and protocols in place. I am flat footed and have narrow feet- the sales person sold me wide shoes with low instep. He categorically told me that the store did not have gym / work out shoes. Very specialized shoe store. They don't have the typical walking and sports brands you hear about. If you either work in the medical industry, or you have a specific medical condition though, you will have heard some of them. Everything here is top-notch!
Staff super friendly. Free gait analysis. Prices are the same as Amazon (when the store does not have promos). Did not end up buying from them because they did not have a big collection of 2e running shoes. Thx folks for your help.
