Very clean and professional place. I've seen two different therapists there over the past decade and both have been fantastic!!
The staff is kind and communication with the office has been great. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Kavousi was very disappointing. During my visit, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Instead of feeling heard regarding my chronic pain, which I have been dealing with for over three years, the appointment felt rushed and unhelpful, he simply mentioned there’s nothing wrong with me. Daniel Z is attentive, looks for the root causes of the issues and critically thinks about how to solve these problems using a variety of techniques (hands on, machine assisted). Daniel has specific experience related to my issue (knee, hip soccer related injuries and long term problems) which I felt was a good match to me. The clinic is well run and clean, admin staff are competent. I’d only recommend that some equipment be updated as they are quite old and showing signs of wear.
I went to Vala with my sprained wrist and he gave me the best insight and genuine care that I’ve had. He gave me very helpful exercises and advice that actually got my wrist back to normal. Not only can you tell that he really knows what he’s doing, but also that he genuinely cares. He checked in on my progress and made sure I was improving the whole time. I extremely appreciate everything he did, and would highly recommend.
My physiotherapist was Sandro C., extremely knowledgable, helpful, open to my observations and applying variety of techniques to help me in my pain. I am very happy that I have chosen the Athlete Care for my needs. With sincere gladness, I would recommend that centre and this particular physiotherapist to everybody, who is experiencing any muscle pain. Thank you Sandro so much! You have returned to me my life back and I am grateful for that!
