We had a great tour guide. Woman with the pink hair, pink umbrella, and pink shoelaces. She was very knowledgeable, and when I had questions she was always quick to answer them and build up on them with nuggets of history. She knws her stuff and is actually excited about these topics, with a particular knowledge and interest for the Greek mythology behind the structures. Our guide had plenty of information to share but her Greek accent, in addition to the crowds, made it difficulty for me to grasp every word she said and understand everything she was explaining.
We booked a walking tour to Acropolis via GetYourGuide. Booking process was smooth and we did it quite last minute, not expecting much because we had already been to Acropolis a year ago, but felt that a guided tour could cover some parts we did could not do ourselves. We enjoyed our tour so much! Our guide was fantastic - fun and knowledgeable and made our visit to the Acropolis very memorable!
Our tour guide was fantastic. She shared more than just history, but pop culture and nuances that I would have missed just visiting on my own. It was worth the cost to get first entry into the Acropolis too. By the time we were leaving around 9:15 am the Acropolis had hundreds if not thousands of people swarming the entrance. We were there with less than 10 people and it was peaceful and cool.
