I’ve used Athens Family Practice for my Primary Care since I was born, and they used to be fantastic! And then they got bought out by Starr Regional, and we’ve had problems ever since. Here I am 33 years later looking for a new Primary Care physician. I have considered leaving for a while because I never receive call backs when I leave messages, my paperwork that was being forwarded has been incomplete multiple times, etc. Other family members of mine have already left. Dr. Kevin Matthew Gooch has been my doctor since Dr. Jenny Bird retired. He and his nurse are fantastic. He's seen me through a lot. I hope he never leaves!
Walk In side is pretty good. Appointment side usually runs behind with long wait times in excess of 20 minutes once your in the exam room, not counting before going to that area.
