Was absolutely stunned when I called to make a general appt as a new patient in a new area and was told I couldn't, that I had to fill out & drop off personal paperwork to them first and then Dr Andrea Dunn would "review" it and "decide" and the office would inform me in 1-2wks. Wow. Review what? Decide what? It was also over a month out in booking just a simple yearly check up. I pick my doctors, always have, it's my choice. Im paying them. Insurance is paying them too. Andrea Dunn was great! It has been a while since I have seen a primary doctor and I just recently became a new patient with Athens Community Care. She was so professional and made me feel so welcomed, heard, and important. She never made me feel rushed and she asked questions. You know how it is when you get in the room with a doctor, sometimes you completely forget things you wanted to talk about, but she asked great questions that helped me discuss everything I needed to! Dr Dunn is not there to help you --- my body is a train wreck and medical records to prove it but yet he does not care
Didn't even become a patient and had issues with this office especially the Doctor Andrea Dunn. I changed my PCM to this office and filled out 16 pages of paperwork as new patient just to wait a week to be told she denied my new patient application. Now gonna have to wait even longer for an appointment. Changed to limestone medical got an appointment within 48 hours much better than this place. Stay away not a friendly or helpful place.
