Excellent food! Excellent service and atmosphere!
My husband and I were driving through Aurora on the way to Colorado Springs and wanted to stop for a healthier, quick meal and we both love Mediterranean food. I checked Yelp and The Athenian had excellent reviews, so we stopped here for lunch. The restaurant has nice Greek decor, a smoking room, and a lot of inside seating. We were greeted and seated right away. We ordered the Athenian Platter for two, which came with either your choice of a side salad or lemon chicken rice soup. The platter was huge and filling! New favorite Greek restaurant! Gyros were delicious, and you MUST get the Saganaki. Love the interior decor — took me back to Hellas! Shyanna was awesome too!
First visit and it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back!
