We had an appointment booked with Dr. Soma for 10:00 AM, but she was late and only saw us at 10:30 AM. During the wait, we asked the receptionist for an update as we hadn’t been informed about any delay, she had no idea, After waiting with no explanation, we eventually stood up to leave. We had a disappointing experience with Dr. Soma and their midwife team during our pregnancy journey. Unfortunately, we found the approach to be quite unprofessional at times. There appeared to be an excessive number of appointments scheduled, some of which felt unnecessary and added to our stress. Dr was unprofessional and rushed. Skipped over all of my blood test results and told me to get a b12 injection with horrible side effects (my b12 levels are in the normal range). She did not explain why any of the levels that we tested could be low and even told me not to eat sugar. At a perfectly healthy weight as a young woman in her 20's I find this to be unprofessional and bad practice.
