Got remote start installed on my 2013 Dodge Avenger here a few years back. They had two options, the cheaper one integrated with my existing OEM key fob. Much less range than a standalone unit but works for my needs. Have never had any issues with it. Service was fairly quick.
I went here for a sterio for my truck. It's a peterbilt. I asked for options and he pulls one out that plugs right in no worries no problems, you don't even need a harness adapter. After questioning this he assured me his information was correct. I purchased it and took it home only to find out the opposite. And when I called him on it he informed me his supplier can't even get a harness adapter for peterbilt, it doesn't exist.
