Dr Atfeh been one of the better cardiologist I have met around hernando and pasco county. I have had much experience with my mother n law 85 and mother 80. He deals well with them. Gives them alot of time to ask questions and concerns he addresses. He even speaks to me since I advocate for them both. His staff is very friendly. Nice to deal with. I have serious ethics concerns with this doctor based on my disturbing experience with him in his office .
Trying to get something refilled or to talk to a human is not happening at this office beware!!
I had been seen regularly by a cardiologist who retired, and tried Dr. Atfeh. With absolutely NO symptoms to support it, he said I have an irregular heartbeat. So, because I have superb insurance he wants to have me wear a monitor ($5000 device), have a sleep study because I snore - something I have been doing for 45 years with no problems - plus have an ECHO, Stress test, don’t need it, and a slew of other tests and they set me up with a half dozen appointments. Been seeing Dr. Atfeh for about 4 yrs. now. Yes, he's not always on time, but emergencies happen. Always friendly, takes his time explaining everything.
