So I wrote a couple of positive reviews three years ago and of course, that's when everything went south. Since then, I have gone through three topside controls, three circulation pumps and two heaters. When I first had it looked at I was told I was using too much ClearChoice water treatment. I told the repair guy that I was using exactly what I was told to use, which was still less than what was recommended on the bottle. He told me it was way too much and my water lines were clogged because of it. He said he could start ... read more

Atera Spas, Stay AWAY! From the beginning this swim spa has been a nightmare. After re-plumbing, new controllers, new pumps... The idiots at this company used spa wiring which are much smaller lengths than a swim spa. Gets better, they used spa wiring and spliced the wires together to make the length required for this swim spa. By the way the insulation used to splice, nothing... even better the wires were on the ground so when water got in the circuit breakers would trip... Thanks for nothing! Vinny

I have Atera swim spa and had a serious problem with the circuitboard. This caused a major overheating of the spa and damaged several components. The company is now owned by LPI the Spa should still be within the three-year warranty provided by Atera, LPI Will do nothing stating that they only offer a one-year warranty even though my contract definitely states I have a three-year warranty. Stay away from this company defective manufacturing and terrible customer service

My wife and I have had our Atera spa for over two years now and we use it almost every night. All of our experiences with Atera have been nothing but positive. I did a ton of research before we purchased from Atera, and yes the price was higher than many other spas, but I have been in some of those other spas and you could do just as well if you took a hot bath. We have never regretted our decision to spend more. When family and friends try the spa they are amazed and many of them own other makes of spas. This is a true ther... read more

When I told Joshua Reynolds the spa I received looked nothing like the picture they used to represent the spa on its dedicated webpage, Joshua Reynolds, Director of Marketing, said to me, a paying customer, "OH. From order to delivery per Joshua Reynolds - 8 – 10 weeks ACTUAL -18 weeks Crane cost per Joshua Reynolds $650.00 ACTUAL-$1734.00 Spa fill time per Joshua Reynolds 6‐8 hours ACTUAL - 13hrs ... read more

Robert S. Wow, I've had a TOTALLY POSITIVE experience with Atera Spas. I just bought a second spa from them. The first spa is still alive and quite well at our cabin in Idyllwild. I got my new spa with their chilling unit. It's nice having a cool dip in Summer. No other spas I checked out have this feature. My installation was tricky. It required a crane and bringing in all new electrical. Chuck, the owner of Atera, personally coordinated the delivery and even got on the phone with my electrician and talked him though what ... read more

Do NOT buy anything from this place. I bought the spa and it was delivered with a destroyed cover. Their initial response was "not our fault," you bought it when it left the factory. After much arguing, they agreed to send a new cover but insisted that the warranty on the acrylic was now void because it didn't have a cover for a few weeks (I am not kidding). Then we had a problem with the wiring. Without ever looking at the dedicated breaker and line, they insisted that my electrician (fully licensed) had not wired the ... read more

AVOID this place! Bought a new hot tub. Pump would not work. Paid them additional $300 to fix and no fix. Took pump to Perry's and they found a manufacturing defect. They fixed it and I finally can use my tub but I am out $300. They have NO customer service personnel.
