Earlier in 2024, this branch was struggling, and my experience as a client was far from smooth. Since Anita Sekhon stepped in as Branch Manager however the turnaround has been remarkable. She has completely transformed the branch and significantly improved my experience. Anita holds her staff to high standards while also leading by example—she wears many hats, stepping in wherever needed. Today, I visited the branch and had a disappointing experience with the teller. He appeared to be of Ukrainian descent, did not wear a name tag, and was dressed informally, with his shirt looking unkempt. His demeanor was overbearing, as if he were the bank's president. When I requested $20 bills, he informed me that the bank does not have those available at the North ATB Bank location. When I asked for a receipt, he demanded that I make my second deposit first. $700 was stolen from my acct by etransfer and the bank is saying they won't be returning it!!! Absolutely bullshit. I can't afford for this. I'll have to close acct and find a bank who cares about their customers I went in twice been on the phone about 5 times asked for my acct to be closed was reassured by Just Leung that it was closed then I wake up with NSF charges in that acct cause it was never closed. Worst bank I've ever dealt with and I been here for 10 yrs. No help at all they need ppl that know what they are doing!... read more
Dropped into this ATB Bank on Feb 19, 2025 to deposit a check. I was second in line for service. Only one teller was working and all other employees ignored customers waiting in line. The only working teller was having a VERY long discussion with a female client about Non-Banking topics and simply ignored the other customers who were in a hurry to get their banking done, After 10 minutes waiting in a very short service line, I left for another branch of the ATB to get my banking done.
