Dr Ata was the most helpful doctor and the only one at times trying to get me answers during my hospital stay. He spent hours on the phone for me and was very attentive. I would have been lost and not in the loop without him.

Dr. Ata provided excellent medical service to me during my admission at Ascension Genesys Hospital from 8/17 - 8/19/24. I was there to treat an unknown AFIB condition. Dr. Ata is compassionate, intelligent, and explains everything in a very clear and concise manner. He acted as my liaison between my PCP and the hospital. Dr. Ata was the worst physician I have ever encountered. He was practically backing out the door as he entered. He spent no more than 10 minutes with me during my stay, and I had to have family intervene to be sure I was getting the medical attention I needed. He misdiagnosed me, which I understand is a routine problem at this hospital, and really didn't know how to handle my case. I am not sure where this staff is trained, or how they are hired, but serious reform needs to be implemented at this hospital.
