Beautiful lake views and excellent location right by Wisp Resort
Right across the street from the entrance of Wisp and located right on Deep Creek Lake this is a fantastic place to stay. The house has recently been updated thanks to the new owners. The hot tub faces the lake and there's a wood burning fireplace. For those who don't like the hassle of starting a fire, there's a modern electric fireplace as well. We went in late September when the leaves were starting to change and it was gorgeous. Only a 3 hour drive from DC, we arrived to a fully equipped, very clean, organized and comfortable house with an amazing view. The kids loved it and did not want to leave. The kitchen had everything we needed -- even a blender for me to make my smoothies. The family room has a beautiful stone fireplace with 2 huge comfortable couches -- one that pulls out. We LOVED this place. The view is amazing, it’s a lovely home and well-kept. So much to do in Deep Creek!
We rented this for Halloween weekend to distract our kids from a Halloween in quarantine. Everyone absolutely loved the view and the area! We enjoyed hiking and relaxing. This place is perfect for a socially distant vacation and we hope to book again in January if it is available!
