We have had a great experience with At Home Support Senior Care. We are a client and a provider. My adult daughter is able to be the provider for our other daughter who has Down syndrome. If you are wanting care in Martinez, good luck. They only have two care givers in the area. While the care givers are knowledgeable, they both have issues preventing them from showing up for their shifts consistently. The company cannot provide coverage when the care giver calls off. We are nearing the end of needing their service and coverage has gotten even more sporadic. We have gone numerous shifts/days without a care giver.
At Home Support Services is a top notch solution for your loved one. Four years ago, I came to them in the need of my epileptic sister who me and my mom was constantly watching over and we were extremely tired and burnt out. My sister would have episodes at night and we were terrified every time she had a seizure but At Home Support Services came to the rescue, they sent me home aides to watch after my sister over night and helped me get a lot of resting time. When my mother was transferred from the hospital to Skilled Nursing, I was hopeful things were getting better. Turns out, I could not have been more wrong. Skilled Nursing facilities are simply are not staffed to accommodate patients with cognitive challenges and as a result my Mother re-injured herself on her second day at the facility. This agency has been a lifesaver for our family during a very difficult time. The caretakers have all been friendly, reliable and helpful and we are very grateful for them. The administrators and staffing office have been so helpful, efficient, patient and work hard to address our changing needs.
