Today I was immediately met by a rude woman telling me about an incident when a child pulled a display shelf onto themselves. I tried to be nice and tell her that would not happen with my children. Again she was rude and said it does happen and to watch my children. Lady, parents know they have to watch their children! I’m wondering if she tells everyone with kids this. After being greeted, the clerk decided to follow us around the shop. Of course she made it seem like she was keeping busy shuffling items around but it was obvious as no one else was in the store. The store has some nice items and it’s unfortunate that even with cameras everywhere, the staff cannot create a welcoming shopping experience. I visit Taos often but will not be returning again.
Georgia's pottery is beautiful! The service here was friendly and quick. Love how this is a mother- daughter business. You gotta check them out! Side note: funniest greeting cards I have seen in a long time.
If I worked there I would NEVER have a paycheck. The staff are phenomenal. There is so much in this tucked-away gem on Taos (McCarthy) Plaza. And it's impossible to see everything in one trip. I've found the most PERFECT gifts there for friends, family, and most importantly, MYSELF! You must go check it out. I promise you won't regret it.
Oh, my goodness!! Could've spent hours browsing through the unique, artsy items in this shop. Plenty of Christmas/holiday souvenirs and decorations for loved ones. Ended up purchasing several felt style holiday ornaments to take home for family. Also, we felt it was decently priced for the handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces.
