called today got my car in for master cylinder and they checked the brakes and did a beautiful job. The cost was very reasonable and done by the afternoon. They even came and picked me up so I could get my car. Wonderful service and great people. Thank you so much.
Great Service! I have taken my car and my wife's car to Jim Phibbs Auto for years. Furthermore, now that my two children are driving they now take their cars there too. The service, quality of work and pricing are the best there is. They never do any work they don't check with you about in advance and will tell you if you have been advised incorrectly. Great people! I've twice gone to them for what I thought would be expensive repairs and they explained why I didn't need them. On another occasion, Mr. Phibbs told me of another shop that could do the work more cheaply than he could. When they have done work for me, it has always been done right and at a reasonable cost. They have an excellent reputation. Tho only downside is that they are very busy (for good reason) so they may not be able to schedule your work right away.
Installed junkyard motor, told us it was factory rebuilt Jim Phibbs told us he installed a factory rebuilt engine in our car.
Can't trust him. Ripped us off BIG TIME. Phibbs told us he installed a factory rebuilt engine in a Honda. The engine has not lasted very well. Other mechanics just recently told us the engine block had markings like it had been bought from a junkyard. Folksy personality but incredibly dishonest man.
WOW. I am so impressed with the wonderful service and value at Jim Phibbs. As a 23 year old girl who knows hardly anything about cars, I usually feel vulnerable going in to any car repair shop. Both of the times I have been to Jim Phibbs, I have been so impressed by their excellent service, value, and their honesty. honest work, fair price, sincere service – I have taken my vehicles here and Mr. Phibbs will repair only what is needed, at a fair price. My elderly parents took their car in recently. My dad told them both CV joints needed replacing. After car repaired, Mr. Phibbs explained that only one needed to be replaced and the other was fine. Exceptional – After getting screwed over at Firestone, I took my car to Jim Phibb's to have a gasket set replaced. Phibb's did the work for less than what they had quoted it as. Even more over, they did the work for $100 less than Firestone quoted it. More recently, I brought my car in because Firestone made a mistake when replacing my spark plugs and wires. Excellent I have used Jim Phibbs for many years as well as my dad and grandfather. We have never been disapointed in the service. Never have been sold somthing I did not need. Highly recommend.
