Years ago I had a really great Banh Mi Sandwich here. I live in North County and happened to be passing by so I ordered a Banh Mi with much anticipation! Sadly, a totally different experience! Ground beef?! On a Torta Roll?!? Barely even tastes like a Banh Mi. They must be leaning too heavily into “fusion” to save costs or meet a “basic” demographic that doesn’t have a clue what a Banh Mi sandwich actually tastes like! Disappointed 😔
We came from out of town, this place popped up near us, and me being tired, I said sure, how bad can it be? Very average restaurant, food is honestly not very good. I'm assuming inflation is keeping them from providing stellar meals. Portions are generous but my lemongrass chicken did not taste anything like lemongrass. The rice looked old and reheated.
