I bought an ASUS MOTHERBOARD model B-E350-WIFI from ******. The motherboard was new and bricked. I returned the motherboard to Asus for repair 10/14 via ASUS return in ****** That was my first problem. The motherboard was delivered almost 11 days later. The motherboard is now with Asus, who now has a further delay because of parts. Asus motherboard are great - when they work. The laptop I bought off Amazon stopped working almost immediately after the return window closed. I didn't spill on it. Didn't eat near it. Yet there was goop in the motherboard. They do not care, and are actively making it hard for me to even get it fixed under the warrenty.
Asus customer support is garbage. They are clueless and do not know anything. I call them twice as my BIOS was loading. What they told me to do was useless, and then had the audacity to tell me to do a factory reset and lose all of my data. A bunch of morons, no better than what you find and Microsoft. The blind leading the blind.
Beware! Customer ********************** is terrible, slow, and are straight up extortionists. I had a cracked screen on my laptop, which I sent in for repair. I was quoted a $600 repair to replace the entire motherboard, which was not damaged. When asking them about it, they said my unit wasn't turning on (Which was working perfectly, a few days prior when I had it). Product and Customer ********************** are HORRIBLE! I bought a Vivobook less than two months ago. Almost immediately, the track pad starting freezing up every 2 - 3 hours making it necessary to do a hard shutdown. My first call to customer ********************** resulted in being told to hold down the F2 key to do a "factory reset", which did nothing to solve the problem. I bought this laptop in May of 2023 and it was down in March of 2024, still within warranty. I mailed it back at the beginning of April, they requested me to pay for the repairt, which I do not think is fair, but I paid. They fisnished the work and shipped it back to me on 4/26 and so far I have not received it. After 30 emails/calls with their customer **********************, they shipped a replacement laptop (refurbished) and it arrived on 6/10, but unfortunately it is still not working, it even could not be started. what ... read more
Clueless and Useless Tech Support.After repeatedly explaining the nature of the problem, all I received for over a week was the same cut and paste resolution that had nothing at all to do with the issue. Not a single tech support rep I dealt with could be bothered, or lacked the skill, to actually read and understand the problem I was having.
I have been buying multiple Asus products in the past and I have spent a lot of money with this business. So far I have a simple warranty claim in the past that went ok but the motherboard broke within 2 months of owning and later died 2 years later. My problem occured after doing a warranty claim on a motherboard I bought 2 years ago that had a common issue with memory. Asus will do everything in its power to disqualify your warrant claim. They clearly are not a reputable company. 8 months old and they won't stand behind it telling me that my receipt is not valid. I imagine that they have built an inferior product and now are trying to get out of any warranty claims.
