so I have seen similar stories of "waiting" with this insurance or lack of....! It's been a month since my phone was stolen. Telus failed us when we reported it to them, that we had coverage and the process. We went to a store and found out we did and to claim with 'Asurion" online. Well its been a week and 4 calls to them cuz they state '24 HOUR CLAIMS". We were told every time that they needed telus to provide more info on if there was activity on the account. Worse Insurance company have deal with, I have my Phone with Telus and I got a insurance for my phone, I lost my phone abroad and I went to Telus as soon I got out of the plane to do a claim we did the claim in Telus store, since then it have been almost a week and the only information that they have been provided to me is they need 24 hrs to review my claim after 4 days I called back now their excuse was that Telus need to put my phone number in black list.
