Reading the positive reviews, I was excited to try this place. My husband's Mongolian beef was just okay. I ordered 3 sushi rolls and they all came out warm. Plus my husband's food arrived at least 5 minutes before mine did.. and half of my sushi came about 15 minutes after my first roll. Honestly I'm not even finishing my last 2 rolls because they're so mediocre... and the salmon just tasted "off." I really wanted to like this place and I hate to leave such a poor review, but people need to know. Complete waste of money.
I had high hopes for a new sushi restaurant to join Concord mall. Decided to get an order to go to try them out. Overall it missed the mark. Miso soup was bland. Sushi was edible but not much better than gas station sushi in terms of freshness and quality. Will give it some time before I try this place again.
Honestly, I really enjoyed this place. The food was fresh and tasted clean, especially the sashimi. Portions were solid and everything felt well made, not rushed. The vibe was chill and comfortable, and the staff were nice and easy to talk to. It’s one of those spots where you can just relax, enjoy your meal, and not feel stressed or rushed. I’d definitely come back and would recommend it if you’re craving good Japanese food.
Always amazing, you wouldn’t expect such yummy food inside this mall but it’s always so good and the service is phenomenal. I hope this place stays around for a long time.
