DJ Roger slayed our wedding day! Seriously, he was the BEST DJ we could have asked for. From the moment the reception started, he kept the energy so high and completely understood the vibe we wanted. I was excited to go with this company because they have so many great reviews and were a preferred vendor of our venue. However, our experience was "ehh". The planning process wasn't anything remarkable. Typical emails back and forth with questions/answers. Astro Event Company did multiple services for my wedding including DJ/MC, Month-of-Coordination, Lighting installation, set up and take down. They were a genuine dream to work with, especially our Month of Coordinator, Lane, and our DJ, Freddie. Lane was always on top of all the final bits of the wedding and always made me feel confident that everything was going well. We had a wonderful experience with astro events. DJ Rodney Charles was incredibly approachable, good at communication, highly experienced, professional, and he played our list of music along with other related music. Everyone had an incredible time at our event! Thank you!
Overall, our wedding day was beautiful and still felt magical, and I do want to note that the linens we rented through Astro went smoothly and looked great. However, our experience with the DJ side left us disappointed, and I feel it’s important feedback for future couples. One thing I would strongly caution couples about is that you do not meet or get assigned your DJ until about a week before the wedding, which made the process feel very stressful and rushed.
