Took 4 months to install. No show or late on city building inspections. Project manager would not return any calls. Hard to speak to anybody at the office as their phone directory doesn't work properly. Overall just poor.
I strongly discourage engaging with this firm. Among other concerns, I experienced a pattern of communication deficiencies and inconsistencies throughout the process. Yet what was particularly disappointing were my communications with upper level management in an effort to address a couple challenges with the installation (introduced below): the experience was unhelpful, costly and most disconcerting. Avery has been great to work with on the sales and customer service and Tim and his team did a good job on the installation of the system.
I want to give credit where credit is due. The team at Astrawatt Solar did a fantastic job from start to completion. Bryan was our consultant and actually gave us two different proposals since my wife didn't want panels on the front of the house. He covered the different options we had and was straightforward without a sales pitch. We had 5-6 proposals before Bryan and he came out on top, one of the reasons we went with Astrawatt. I would strongly recommend this company for your solar project. As an engineer, I was very detail focused through the planning and installation process. The team at Astrawatt did not disappoint on any step. I am on the northern fringe of their current territory so my local utility hadn’t heard of them. When they came out to do the inspection and saw how professionally the installation was done, he said “Who are these guys? This looks amazing”. Great job Astrawatt team!!
