Astrowatt installed the incorrect microinverters on our home. They installed the cheaper, less efficient inverters when we paid for the more expensive inverters. My spouse brought this to Astrowatts attention months ago and Astrowatt has yet to correct their mistake and had ghosted us, not returning calls or emails. Find A Different Installer. See below. I cannot in good faith recommend Astrawatt Solar. At first, everything seemed fine. Come to find out, my inspection was never closed out, the wrong microinverters were installed (which I was not informed of until I tried to get the inspection closed out), etc. During this time, I had paid them a 25% deposit on an add-on system. Took 4 months to install. No show or late on city building inspections. Project manager would not return any calls. Hard to speak to anybody at the office as their phone directory doesn't work properly. Overall just poor.
I strongly discourage engaging with this firm. Among other concerns, I experienced a pattern of communication deficiencies and inconsistencies throughout the process. Yet what was particularly disappointing were my communications with upper level management in an effort to address a couple challenges with the installation (introduced below): the experience was unhelpful, costly and most disconcerting.
