After 10 years of having solar panels, we decided to get a back up battery installed. I’d give zero stars if it was an option… **see edit below. I added a star for what appears to be a quality product with abysmal communication and follow through. We started the process with Astrawatt Solar (of Kansas City? Of St. Louis? I’m still unclear about which office we officially worked with because they passed us back and forth so many times) in March 2025. Astrawatt, recently taken and managed by Fidelis Renewables, was a smooth sailing ship! Excellent experience from start to finish. The team was knowledgeable, transparent, and made the install seem easy. Really good communication and final walk through of how to use the app, what to track, and how to see the best results. I feel confident about what the future has in store at my house and with the Fidelis relationship!
Oh where to begin. I’d say on a whole, their price was about the same as other quotes I got and the equipment was pretty much the same. Sales staff, engineering staff, and installers were all very knowledgeable. Their organization SUCKS though. I got my quote in August and the system wasn’t turned on until FEBRUARY. Communication was non existent about what was happening and when or when my family would be without power.
