Oh where to begin. I’d say on a whole, their price was about the same as other quotes I got and the equipment was pretty much the same. Sales staff, engineering staff, and installers were all very knowledgeable. Their organization SUCKS though. I got my quote in August and the system wasn’t turned on until FEBRUARY. Dishonest, Disorganized, and Disappointing I paid over $105,000 for a premium solar system that was supposed to include full property backup, two Tesla Powerwalls, and a SPAN panel. Despite multiple planning meetings with my Electrician and General Contractor they showed up and installed the wrong configuration... I spent several months learning about solar and researching solar companies. I got proposals from five different companies. I chose Astrawatt for two reasons. One was their Google Reviews and the other was Bryan B. He provided me with more information about their company, solar in general, and what would be best for my house than anyone else I spoke with. They installed an LG battery for the house and everything was done quickly and with precision. Best part is I think my garage floor is cleaner now then when it started.
The team of Chris and Chris did a nice job installing the batteries, controller, and monitoring hardware as part of Evergy's pilot program. Critical circuits were moved to sub panel for backup. Very efficient and clean runs, well labeled, and cleaned up well once finished. Very pleased with their work.
