Oh where to begin. I’d say on a whole, their price was about the same as other quotes I got and the equipment was pretty much the same. Sales staff, engineering staff, and installers were all very knowledgeable. Their organization SUCKS though. I got my quote in August and the system wasn’t turned on until FEBRUARY. Communication was non existent about what was happening and when or when my family would be without power. This company only cares about doing your install and the $$ related to that. While the upfront process and install went smoothly and everything was over communicated, that is where to good service ends. I have been trying for just over two weeks to get support for an array that is not producing power. The service department seems to be non-existent. Run from this company. I spent several months learning about solar and researching solar companies. I got proposals from five different companies. I chose Astrawatt for two reasons. One was their Google Reviews and the other was Bryan B. He provided me with more information about their company, solar in general, and what would be best for my house than anyone else I spoke with. Sun solar installed our system and I had no problems. Upon selling my house Astrawatt Solar has been useless can't even find us in the system. Look by name, address and phone number. The new to be owners are trying to get a new roof and so need to find out about the panels being removed then replaced after and the warranty information and this company has been nothing but worthless. They do not return calls.
They installed an LG battery for the house and everything was done quickly and with precision. Best part is I think my garage floor is cleaner now then when it started.
