My girlfriend (now wife) introduced me to Astoria on the Danforth in 1982. Since then, almost every trip into the city included a visit to the restaurant. We thought we were pretty lucky when a new location opened in Newmarket, since we often passed through there. Now we live pretty far away, but every trip to YYZ brings us by the Vaughan restaurant. Great food, price and atmosphere. Tom is a great server and Nick the owner is super friendly. Highly recommend this place, especially the chicken Slovaki. My favourite authentic Mediterranean food spot in the area
