Very disappointed. Stopped by to get a feel for the place. Made an appointment to see some apartments in the Aston and Jerome. Came in for our appointment. Felt like we were being an inconvenience. Saw 1 unit in the Aston, but, it was not clean, blinds sagging, no faucet in the kitchen. None to see or offered to tour in the Jerome. Excuses were many. Not a good day. Payroll due. No help. We lived here for two years and had a corner unit with beautiful, large windows. The ceilings are tall, and the lighting design is a nice touch. The apartment is spacious and has a loft-like feel. The maintenance guy, Brad, is amazing. Any issues we had were addressed promptly. He even worked around our schedule, knowing that we tend to get up pretty late. I lived at Aston Place for the past three years, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! The apartments are beautiful, and the location is even better. Aston Place is conveniently located just minutes from Grandview, the Short North, and Ohio State campus, while still being tucked away in a quiet part of Victorian Village. Apartments are modern and spacious. Location is close enough to High Street to enjoy but without the noise. I lived here for 3 years and want to highlight Brad in maintenance who attended to any issues promptly.
I do not leave negative reviews lightly, and I gave Aston Place nearly two months to address this. I first reported my broken AC on May 19 and was assured it was being handled. Maintenance came out two days later and marked the request “completed,” even though the AC still did not work. After more follow-ups, I submitted another high-priority request on May 29.
