Great little country cottage for a weekend getaway
Overall good location , bit pricy for not being in peak season
Just booked this place on Airbnb for 2 nights in March 2024. All went thru got booking confirmation and $ came out of account. Even got a message from host that it was booked. Then 5 minutes later they tell me that the dates not available as someone has booked 5 nights over that period. It seems 5 nights trumps 2 nights. Poor service . Then they tell me I have to do the cancelling and now I have to wait 5 to 7 days to get the $ reimbursed. Beware of this service. Accomodation is nice as I've been here before. Astley cottage is like a big hug,it make you feel at home..a quaint little place with beautiful gardens..and fantastic hosts.. And the secure fenced veranda is great for the dogs... can't wait to return
