Aster Place has a family-feel good atmosphere! The activities, food, medical care and listening ear all combine into one happy place. I always feel i will have a listening ear with a suggestion or comment. I cant think of a better place to live in a long term care facility!!! 5 stars for Aster Place!
Although this is a nicer place than some others it seems that the staff can't keep a schedule for residents that need meds at specific times! There is a turnover rate alot here and they need more personal for all the rooms they have to get too! Higher pay and a better structure for sure!
Aster Place is a beautiful facility. I wish it had been around when I was looking for senior living for my parents. Our caring and compassionate staff work hard to make a difference for those they serve. But most importantly, we have the best residents!! Our residents are always willing to step up and help welcome new residents to the community and show them the ropes! I came back here after graduated because I thought the staff was getting better.They did, everyone else was great except the nursing staff. First of all I would like to say there is a nurse from the agency who is usually on the AL side who works in the evening and then leaves around 11pm when I was new there she was nice but when I started working with her she is very rude with a nasty attitude.
