From day one, we felt welcomed at Aster Gardens. The people, the programs, and the atmosphere make it a wonderful place to be.
TL;DR: Despite extremely high costs, Aster Gardens failed to provide even basic care for my grandmother with dementia. Memory care - 3rd floor. A little under a year and $100,000.00 lighter in the wallet…. In good conscience I cannot recommend this floor. A majority of the staff are lovely and are trying their best but this place is sorely understaffed and under educated in how to deal / direct dementia patients. As an example if a single staff member calls in sick chaos ensues with some residents missing their meals, medication, and assistance in getting dressed. My Grandmother is here and it is a higher living place. Wouldn't mind spending my last few years here. They have everything you could imagine, including a chipping and putting green. Two restaurants with multiple menus which you can have your family dine with you.
