While we were there they had several different bug infections, including bed bugs. The fire alarm would go off at night with no direction and total confusion.. Then they would turn out to be caused by employees making popcorn. They didn't even know how turn turn off a false alarm! Activities were inconsistent.
My mom was very reluctant to leave the place where she’d been living in a home with me and move to assisted living because she didn’t think that would be the place for her. But it has turned out to be the BEST place for her, and for me! I’ve encountered nothing but pleasant people on staff who are considerate and kind and they call my mom by her name. UPDATE: Since I was there… there is a new nurse and there is a new executive director! I am hearing this has been positive changes. Definitely good news! Updated my rating due to this… 😀 ————————————————————— If this was rating the residents, I would give them a 5 star because they are absolutely amazing. Good place and great helpful employees
After looking at several places over a few months we chose Drumlin Reserve over all others not only for its location and beautiful property but for the staff and amazing residents that reside here. Moms apt looks out the back and its simply stunning with the landscape and wildlife that is so abundant here. The herd of Deer that come to graze is the highlight of moms day as are the other ground critters and abundance of birds. Its like watching Wild Life Federation LIVE out your own window! and thats just the back yard view..... read more
