Perfect for apartments. While I have not had a claim, I have had some issues at move out (auto payment when not needed/extended for a month/etc.) and their customer service is incredible. Both over the phone and chat I had a live agent and resolutions right away. Good service is hard to find. They are great with that and I will continue to use them.
Unfortunately this company does not cover what they said they clearly cover. They claim they cover broken screens, but they just said - they will not, due to conflicting info and fraud. I called them to ask what is that conflicting info or what fraud do they see there, but they would NOT tell me.
Was on call for 2 and a half hours, all I needed was a receipt/proof of purchase of a warranty replacement device that included the IMEI number, to prove that I own the phone free and clear. And no one was able to provide, said it was a carrier matter, and the carrier would tell me it's an Assurant matter because they are the ones who replaced the device. Unbelievable the inability of the personnel to achieve said task.
i just put my claim in and they hung up in my face never sent me a email. i told them i couldn’t wash my clothes due to my house being covered in water and the apartment people didn’t come for another 8 hours so i had to sleep in a pool full of water. my tv and my kids clothes and my clothes and their toys covered in water. the lady on the phone had a bad attitude when i tried to tell her. they are no help and bad customer service all together
